Sometimes I just sit here and think about all the things I love about age difference/class difference plots.
- Like Muse A and Muse B cuddling on a small, uncomfortable mattress in Muse A’s messy studio apartment even though Muse B has a penthouse and a house in Malibu that they could share, too.
- Muse A counting quarters and dollar bills to pay for dinner for a change because student debt and rent is killing them on their shitty salary even though Muse B is older and successful and is like a freaking billionaire.
- Muse B finding himself dragged along to a frat party because Muse A wanted to go out with her friends instead of a gala for the state senator and them having a blast anyway.
- Muse A wearing her on sale Forever 21 dress to said gala for the state senator among women wearing designer dresses and Muse B making her feel like the most beautiful and best dressed one there.
- Muse A insisting on applying for a ‘big girl’ job at Muse B’s company that he is CEO of despite he could literally snap his fingers and get it for her himself.
- Muse B’s parents being extremely critical and concerned that Muse A is a gold digger and Muse B defending her like a god damn mama bear over her clubs and Muse A in the next room listening to it all.
- Muse B comes over to help Muse A file taxes for the first time and Muse A is all “What’s a W2?” and Muse B get’s so mad about how cute she is. (Conversely, Muse A has never found Muse B so hot in her life.)
These are the types of things I find really, really cute okay. I live for it.

muse a is desperately in love with muse b but has kept it hidden for years so muse b is completely clueless and talks about their relationships and crushes in front of muse a because muse b just thinks they’re that kind of really great friends so one day they go to a party and get drunk together which leads to muse a getting drunker than they’ve ever been before so muse b carries them home because the party is only a few blocks away and tugs them into bed BUT MUSE A DRUNKENLY TELLS MUSE B THEY’RE SO IN LOVE WITH THEM AND BAM this is where the plot begins so you can have muse b avoid muse a because they’re scared they might lose muse a or you can have muse b wake muse a up with breakfast in bed and a super sudden kiss depends on whether u want angst or FLUff cries im so emotional

family planning au where our muses are already together and start planning their first child, except oops the condom broke or the adoption agency called and the baby is coming asap and there goes all your planning. :-)

double trouble au where our muses have given up trying for a baby and decide for adoption. but only months after they adopt their baby, they finally get pregnant without even trying and now they get the best of both worlds.
