“Ain’t wise to try stealing from a bounty hunter - ‘specially
one who’s on his way to get paid.”

She’s got a Ravager holding each arm and an arrow trained
straight to her head; dense as many of the Ravagers may
be, it can’t be said that Yondu doesn’t have strength in numbers.
Besides, it doesn’t matter what it is - an artifact, a hostage, or in this
case, an ancient weapon - nobody steals from him, long as he
can help it.

“So, how much they offerin’ you for this, girlie?”

you couldn’t afford me.

it’s not for her; it’s for s.h.i.e.l.d. analysis. ever since the avengers teamed up with the guardians, s.h.i.e.l.d.’s hunger for the unknown has been insatiable. sending her into space was just another one of their manoeuvres to go further than any man has gone before ( they forget that peter quill is mostly human ).

she’s never seen any of these species before, but she’s pretty sure she’s not underestimating herself when she thinks she can take the guys holding her down. the magical arrow does give a girl pause, though.

This is what I am now

One of the most valuable skills in espionage: the unteachable skill to belong anywhere. The other edge of what is the unfortunate truth: You must first belong nowhere.
